LinkedIn is a powerful platform for freelancers to network, showcase their skills, and find new opportunities. However, many freelancers struggle to consistently post on LinkedIn due to various reasons, such as the interface, algorithm, or simply forgetting to log in regularly. In this blog post, Emma shares a simple hack that can help you overcome these challenges and boost your LinkedIn engagement.

1. LinkedIn Games: LinkedIn has introduced three short and sweet games that refresh daily. These games, which are like puzzles or brain teasers, can be completed in just a minute on average. By signing up for these games, you will receive a daily reminder to play them.

2. Habit Stacking: To make the most of the LinkedIn Games, you can practice habit stacking. When you receive the notification that a new game is available, set a rule for yourself to complete a specific LinkedIn-related task before playing the game. For example, you can commit to writing a post or commenting on three LinkedIn posts before indulging in the game. This habit stacking technique helps create a quick reward system and serves as a reminder to engage on LinkedIn regularly.

3. Finding Fun in Consistency: If you struggle to consistently engage on other platforms like Facebook, consider finding a fun activity or reward to motivate yourself. For instance, you can create a messenger chat with friends or colleagues where you share fun things, but only allow yourself to participate once you have completed your Facebook group posting or other necessary tasks.

Give this LinkedIn hack a try and see how it improves your consistency in posting and engaging on the platform.
