Hey freelancer!

Idea-busy, but time-poor?

Looking for support and advice that help you take action quickly?

Need someone to bounce ideas off and give you accountability to achieve your goals?

Like the idea of a more informal, bite-sized coaching format, that you can do on the go? (Oh, and it’s more affordable too!)

Then Voxer coaching is for you!

What is Voxer Coaching?

Firstly, what is Voxer? It’s a free app a bit like WhatsApp, which allows you to send text, voice calls and photos back and forth, but you can listen back to the voice calls live.

Voxer coaching is a way for me to offer coaching, support and guidance through the app, so you get quick and easy accountability, advice and a space to flesh out ideas, all from your phone (without having to show up on video!)

I’ve found it’s brilliant for those who want coaching to fit around their lives, whether it’s sending a question in a voice note while doing the school run, or needing feedback on a potential offer and how to promote it. Like having a little freelance fairy godmother on your shoulder.

Client Love…

Here’s what Laura said after a month of accountability Voxer:

“What can I say? Being a business owner can be a lonely old thing, and sometimes you just need some impartial and expert advice to call on. Emma has become that person for me. Not only is she incredibly knowledgeable, but she is also a calm, kind and thoughtful coach – genuinely acting as a cheerleader for my business. She has become an integral part of my business decision making and helped coax me into making some big ideas start becoming reality. If you’re looking for accountability with a pinch of tech and a whole lot of knowledge, you need Emma in your life.”

Laura Parker, Shoreway Business Support

And here’s what Nina said after a short session with me:

“Thanks to a 45 minute 1:1 with Emma, I’ve been able to map out my sales funnel, update my website and am working on a guide that I can sell and that will also provide the structure and content for my social media posts. All of the content and the ideas were in my brain already, some of them I had ages ago and had forgotten about – but the conversation we had helped me put all the pieces together!”

Hello! I’m Emma Cossey.

Here’s a professional photo of me, with what looks like a farting cat in the background. That’s how you know I’m a proper freelancer.

I’m a coach for freelancers, with ten years of freelancing background in social media, online content and training.

For the last 8 years, I’ve run The Freelance Lifestyle, a blog and podcast for freelancers and those who want to go freelance, to find clear, simple and practical advice on being freelance.

Because I want you to spend less time googling things like “how the hell do I find my next client?” or “Why does the accounts department of my client always seem to be on holiday when my invoice is due?”. Or “Is it normal to have a 20 minute conversation with the postmen each morning about the benefits of A5 over A4 notepads, or should I look into co-working?”
